How do I use proto-col Collagen Facemask?
The proto-col Collagen Facemask is very easy to apply, and can be applied thickly and left on for up to 15 minutes, or can be applied finely over the skin and left over night. Here are a few easy to follow steps:
- Make sure that you cleanse your face thoroughly prior to using the product.
- Initially apply the mask to the areas of the cheek bones, and where your smile lines are.
- Then fan the mask out in upward direction, using the spatula provided or your fingers.
- Apply thinly, smoothly and evenly all over your face.
- Take care around the eye area - begin at the outer corner of each eye, taking extra care, as the skin here is very thin. If you have very lined or wrinkle skin around the eyes, then it is suggested that you gently pat the facemask on rather than rub it on. This will ensure it is applied evenly and gives maximum results.
- When applying it to the forehead start above the brow-line and move upwards to the hair line.
- When your face is evenly covered in the facemask, relax and recline for 10-15 minutes.
- Use warm water to remove the facemask. Simply get a cloth, wet it, and dab the mask off your face. Remember to be gentle.
- Any excess mask which remains on the skin can be gently rubbed into the skin and will be naturally absorbed.
Will the mask set and need peeling off?
The mask does not set, as it is a hydrating mask, which means it stays moist. As a lubricating facemask it feeds and lubricates the delicate facial tissue, leaving your skin radiant and rejuvenated. The only time you will find remains of the mask on your face is after you have attempted to dab it off after the treatment. When this occurs, simply rub these smaller left over patches into the skin much like you would a moisturising cream. They will be absorbed and further nourish your skin.
