More than one in four British women over the age of 35 ‘never have sex’. This finding was born out of a recent survey. Many of the reasons put forward by the women included tiring jobs or the responsibilities of looking after children. The survey, carried out by Sky Real Lives, indicated that middle-aged women in Scotland have a particularly mundane love-life, with 38% having no sex. Meanwhile in the Midlands, the results painted a very different picture. There 32% of respondents said they had sex on a weekly basis. Among women who were sexually active, 41% reported to have experienced regular orgasms. On the other hand, just 12% with two children said they climaxed most or all of the time and for those with one child, the figure was 14%. Many of the women said the stresses of work were to blame for their lack of satisfaction in the bedroom. For those who worked full time, 55% had orgasms most or all of the time, whereas for part-time workers, it was 67%. Contrary to popular misconceptions, menopause is not often a reason for lack of libido in older women and in fact, many women claim that their libidos are increased during this period. Women of all ages may experience what doctors call female sexual dysfunction. The condition can involve any number of symptoms from a lack of sex drive to the inability to produce enough vaginal lubrication to suffice for satisfying sex. The condition can result from any number of psychological, emotional, or indeed environmental factors. Physical causes can also lower libido, including alcoholism, anaemia, or diseases such as diabetes. If you feel you may be affected by this condition, the best course of action is to confide in your partner, and seek professional advice with their support. We offer discreet advice and credited treatments, one of which is hersolution pills ™, a safe and gentle daily libido booster for women. |
