A Canadian doctor who carried out penis enlargement operations has been charged with fraud. Dr Paul Russell Hanson, 52, from Windsor, billed the Ontario Health Insurance Plan for services that he did not carry out. The OHIP is a government-run health plan, entitling residents of Ontario to free emergency medical care. Dr Hanson has previously been called up for missing a cancer diagnosis, falsifying records and performing unproven penis enlargement procedures. An investigation at the time of the latter charge found Hanson had carried out "unproven and ineffective" penile enhancement procedures. Police arrested Dr Hanson on Thursday. He faces one count of fraud over $5,000 and is expected to appear in court at the beginning of October. Penis enlargement is widely sought after by men. Most feel their penis size is inadequate, and are looking for a quick way to fix this perceived problem. In fact surveys show that the average erect penis size is around 4 to 6 inches. The majority of men fall into this category. Penis enlargement surgery is usually dangerous and is generally discouraged by medical authorities. The procedure can result in deformity and nerve damage if not carried out correctly. Experts say that pornography often makes men think their penises are not up to the standard size. Yet this is often because adult entertainment actors are specially chosen for their penis size. Their penises may look much bigger on screen than they actually are. Men also sometimes complain that, when they see other men’s penises in real life, for instance in gym changing rooms, they appear much bigger than their own. However, this could be because they are viewing the penis from an entirely different angle to which they view their own. If you are looking to enlarge your penis, you may find penis enlargement products, such as pumps and tablets, to be helpful. |
