What is the HairMax LaserComb Professional 12?
Suitable for men at all stages of hair loss, the HairMax Laser Comb Professional 12 is the latest in the evolution of hair loss treatments, following on from the Lux 9 model. How does the HairMax LaserComb Professional 12 treat loss of hair?
Your hair grows in cycles: anagen - is the active growth phase, catagen - is the resting phase and telogen - is the shedding phase. 10-20% of your hair is constantly in the catagen or telogen phase, loosening and shedding as it is replaced by an active anagen hair follicle. The HairMax LaserComb Professional 12 essentially stimulates your scalp and energises more hair follicles in the catagen or telogen phase, encouraging a new anagen hair to grow through. These new anagen hairs cause the old catagen and telogen hairs to shed sooner rather than later. Hairs which are shed during this time will be replaced by more new, healthier, stronger hairs.
How do I use the device?
Press the power button, and then the laser button on the front. Place the laser comb on your head using its 2 rows of teeth. Use a glide motion when combing the device through your hair. Gently glide it back 0.5-inches each time until the audible 4 second beep occurs. Move the device from the front of your hairline to the back of your head, then repeat in the opposite direction.
When can I expect to see results?
