What is the Dermisil Molluscum treatment?
Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a viral skin infection which most commonly appears on the arms and legs in children under the age of 10. Molluscum infections in adults are often sexually transmitted and usually affect the genitals, lower abdomen, buttocks, and inner thighs. Picking or scratching the bumps may lead to further infection or scarring, which can be prevented with daily use of the Dermisil molluscum treatment. How does Dermisil Molluscum treatment work?
Dermisil molluscum treatment removes the soft centre of the bump, which causes the lesion to diminish. Immediate treatment is necessary for containing this condition, which can spread through skin-to-skin contact including sexual contact, touching, and handling objects that contain traces of the virus such as bathroom towels.
Dermisil Molluscum uses a blend of thuja occidentalis, melaleuca alternifolia and ricinus communis. The topical application of these extracts is lipophilic and absorbs into your skin and blood stream as soon as they are applied to your skin. This is the most effective and gentle method for all types of molluscum contagiosum treatment.
How do I apply this molluscum contagiosum treatment?
Apply Dermisil Molluscum to the affected areas with a clean cotton ball, or q-tip. Do not be alarmed if you feel a burning sensation, this is just your body’s reaction to the treatment and should not last long. Repeat this action 3-4 times per day, at the same time each day to develop a routine.
At night, cut a small piece of cotton wool the size of the skin tag and dip it in the Dermisil Molluscum liquid, then use a piece of medical tape to secure it to the area, if possible. This will speed up the healing process. Keep applying the treatment until the skin tag is completely gone. You may experience a drying of the skin area where the liquid is applied as the molluscum flakes away. This is normal and will subside after the molluscum treatment is completed.
When can I expect to see results?
The Dermisil Molluscum treatement healing process varies from person to person. Depending on the type of molluscum, the size of the area being treated and your immune system, you can see results within 2 to 6 weeks. It is common for the molluscum to grow slightly in size during treatment as the virus combats the liquid, but it will soon start to reduce in size and flake away.
