What is Dandrene and how does it work?

Developed by DS Laboratories, Dandrene is a next generation anti-dandruff shampoo that has been developed to relieve the often embarrassing symptoms of dandruff. Dandrene employs effective antifungal agents and natural extracts which have been used for years in traditional and modern beauty and cosmetic remedies to provide relief for greasy hair, itchy red scalp, oiliness and mild fungal odours.

Scientifically tested, Dandrene is formulated to work in 3 ways. Firstly it targets the infectious malassezia that causes flakes. Secondly, it can control the sebum that feeds these fungi, which prevents you from getting a greasy scalp. Thirdly, it is developed to deliver vital nutrients to support and rebuild hair and scalp volumes to keep them healthy.

How do I to use Dandrene?

Dandrene can be applied to wet hair for the best results. Take a small quantity of the shampoo, work into a lather and then rinse. Repeat the procedure, leave it on for two minutes and rinse again. You can use Dandrene three to four times a week safely.

Are there any side effects to using Dandrene?

It's important to remember that you should only use Dandrene if you have dandruff. Do not use it if you have broken or inflamed skin. If you do not see any results within two weeks of using it or if your condition worsens, stop using Dandrene.

What are the ingredients?

The active ingredient is ketaconazole. Other ingredients include - ichtyol pale, hydrolyzed tannins from pomegranate peel, barosma betulina root extract, water, ascorbic acid, barosma betulina root extract, citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, cocamide mea, flavesone, glycerin, lawsonia inermis (henna) flower /fruit/leaf extract, lysine, punica granatum extract, plumeria acutifolia flower extract, salicylic acid, salix alba (willow) bark extract, brewer’s yeast and salvia sclarea (clary) extract.
